The Country Darkness album is still available on all formats;

CDCassette, and the stunning triple vinyl box set.

You can bundle these up too with the limited edition coffee mug.

We are also once again offering hand-written lyrics. So just tell us which song(s) you’d like, and who it is for, and we will hand-write, sign and add a special personal note at your request. Details here.

Happy shopping everyone. OK, commercial over.

Although we were just in ‘acoustic mode’ we had a grand time at The Maverick Festival, with our new feathered friend.

A joy to see so many musician friends on stage and many familiar faces in the crowd after such a long time away. Kudos to Paul Spencer, James Partridge and all the Maverick crew and staff for making it happen this year.

The love of everyone there was palpable.

Thanks also to all who came to the Saturday night tribute to the much missed Craig Pickering. He would have loved it.

Thanks for the positive feedback to the recent brand new MWK song Weight Of The World.

You can listen again, and also download an alternative  “Ghostwriter” re- mix of the song via the Bandcamp page.
Michael has been hard at work finishing the album. It is now at the mastering stage, and more details will follow soon about its release early in the new year. The title of the album is ‘The Struggle’.

Something that is out much sooner, next week in fact, is The Wanderer, and it is something we are very keen to bring to your attention –  a tribute album curated by Michael. More details below:

The Wanderer – A Tribute to Jackie Leven, out 17th September

‘The Wanderer – A Tribute to Jackie Leven’, a tribute record which sees 22 specially recorded new tracks featuring friends and fans and some big names including Eliza Carthy, Ralph McTell, Tom Robinson & Ian Rankin, will be released digitally and on CD on September 17th. It will also be available on vinyl in 2022.

Each artist has contributed sleevenotes detailing their experiences of knowing and working with Jackie and why they wanted to contribute to this tribute album. Proceeds from this album will benefit the Westminster Drug Project (WDP) a charity that continues the work of Jackie’s own charity, The CORE Trust.

Order now here.

It really is a stunning album and we strongly recommend you order a copy. Money to a very worthy cause too.

Ok, that’s all for now. We need to go and pack our bags, check there are spare strings in the guitar case, and fresh flowers in Lou’s suitcase,  and get back to what we like doing best. “Entertaining folks”

Excited to see you all. Keep well everyone.

Yours in music,
Lou and Michael
