We do hope that you are all doing ok. That you have made it through our winter of discontent and feeling a little better about Spring being here and things slowly starting to open up again.
And we hope, and expect, that this extends to our live venues too.
So, with that in mind we are pleased to announce a few shows for the summer and Autumn.
Like all working musicians we have been devastated that we have not been able to tour since March 2020, to not be able to play for you in person. This is by far the longest we have gone between shows since we started My Darling Clementine and we can’t wait to get back on the boards.
We have 3 shows the first weekend that lockdown is eased and are hoping we see as many of you as possible.
And then shows in Norway, Sweden and more in the UK in September and October.
Dates as follows:
Fri June 25th – Long Compton, near Stratford – Long Compton Church

Thanks for your support via the web site store over the past 12 months. Your orders of albums, and MDC merchandise has really helped keep things ticking over. We now have something brand new for 2021, something special and unique — a limited edition, handmade American pin badge.
It is 10 years since How Do You Plead?, our debut album was released. To celebrate it being a decade old, the iconic ‘waiting room’ album-cover image has been re-designed by Mary and Michael Olson at PizzaWednesday.
This stunning enamel pin measures 1.5 inches tall x 2 inches wide, and is made of high-quality black metal and features two pin backs with brass clutches. Only 50 are available so order now here.
Other pins in Mary and Michael Olson’s collection include Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, and our old friend Jim Lauderdale. Check them out here.
COUNTRY DARKNESS – The Album
Despite coming out in November, the album continues to be written about. It has been getting some love in the Southern Hemisphere recently with this feature in Australian magazine Rhythms.

We thank all of you who have bought and enjoyed the album.
OR order it from the official My Darling Clementine web site to bundle up with vinyl, posters, coffee mugs, dvd’s or even the brand new CASSETTE.
As ever all items will be signed and personalised as requested.
Well, our priority is getting back on the road and doing what we love most, playing live.
But thoughts are also turning to future releases with new songs being written all the time.
We have also have been working away separately too, on individual solo projects. More news to follow on these but get ready for some of ‘her without him’ and vice versa.
Meanwhile, we look forward to seeing some of you in June and some later in the year. Don’t forget, drop a line via the web site if you would like a show in your area, or even a private house concert.
Keep well, keep smiling.
Yours in music,
Lou and Michael
